Talk to God

Picnic

“Many of us think prayer is meditating on good, holy churchy thoughts, or preparing sermons, all up in the head.  Why don’t we, as sons and daughters, talk directly to our Father as if we know and believe he’s there?  To talk to God takes a childlike attitude.  If we need always to be in control, we can’t talk like a child to our Mother.” ~ Richard Rohr from The Price of Peoplehood

Today, talk to God like a child talks to her mother.  She loves you and she’s listening…

Lenten peace,

  1. In all our readings it tell us to talk to Him like a child and let go let God. Also, He is always by our side so we need to realize how close He always is and will be listening. Mom
